ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
The Sixth Annual Women's International Film Festival (WIFF), March 30-
April 3 (Miami),is one of the few international film and arts festivals dedicated to women. This five-day extravaganza, consisting of indoor and outdoor film screenings, fashion shows, workshops/symposia, a family funfest, and of course, parties, is a celebration of women and all who love women.
Set in the exotic, artsy and beautiful Coconut Grove area of Miami, WIFF is a great location to screen films, network at parties, sit by the beach, and possibly spot celebrities and industry pros sipping pina coladas and mojitos at one of our outdoor film screenings, while enjoying the sunny South Florida beaches and weather with March/April temperatures averaging 81 degrees Fahrenheit (28 C).
Awarded best 2007 Miami Film Festival by the Miami New Times, the event has attracted 2007 Best Supporting Actress Oscar Nominee (Babel), Adriana Barazza and Emmy, Grammy and Golden Globe Award (American Gangster)winning actress and legend Ms. Ruby Dee, NAACP Image Award recipient, author and actress Victoria Rowell, The Breakfast Club's Alley Sheedy and the sultry Vivica A. Fox.
As we celebrate our 6th consecutive year with both film and fashion collaborations, we anticipate WIFF 2010 to be better than ever!
